We invite you to stroll main street shops, visit historic Sonnenberg Gardens, the NYS Wine and Culinary Center or enjoy a day of fine antiquing, most of which are within short walk from our front door. If wine tasting is your passion, Keuka, Seneca and Cayuga lakes offer over 100 wineries that cater to every palette, making for a splendid day trip. And, you can do it year round! During the winter months, Bristol Mountain is a pleasant drive over the hills surrounding Canandaigua Lake offering both downhill and cross country skiing.

Awake each morning to a scrumptious three-course breakfast served by candlelight in our elegant period dining room. Fresh, local and decadent is what we are all about at breakfast! Piping hot Finger Lakes’ Roasters coffee and gourmet loose leaf teas are offered, as well as your choice of several juices. A typical breakfast begins with a yummy pastry course that varies from warm muffins, breads or scones, made from scratch of course, to homemade cinnamon rolls or sour cream coffeecake, or even a hot-out-of-the-oven lemon pudding cake that everyone devours! We then follow it with a fresh fruit course that highlights in-season local fruits, which we have selected from our favorite organic farm stand or picked ourselves, whenever possible. You must leave room for our main entrée, always a different house specialty every day, such as our homemade cinnamon swirl French toast. It is after a breakfast like this you are ready to face everything the Finger Lakes area has to offer!
