Generic Nexium decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions involving excessive stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is also used to promote healing of erosive esophagitis (damage to your esophagus caused by stomach acid). It may also be given to prevent gastric ulcer caused by infection with helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) or by the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Generic Zebeta is used for treatment of high blood pressure. It is a beta-blocker. It works by interfering with certain body chemicals, which cause the heart to beat with less force and pump out less blood.
Generic Zofran is used to prevent nausea and vomiting that may be caused by surgery or by medicine to treat cancer (chemotherapy or radiation). Ondansetron blocks the actions of chemicals in the body that can trigger nausea and vomiting.
